California Rocks! (again)
If you were in Southern California, you probably felt our latest earthquake today. So did my dogs! I was home working on the computer when the house began shaking. Odie acted like it was no big deal, but Ginger got very excited and jumped up to the front window, barking in an attempt to scare off whatever she thought was trying to knock down the house. It was all over in about 20 seconds, with no damage. But another earthquake "jolts" our awareness about being prepared in an emergency and making sure our pets are safe too. We always have extra water and food, and a safe place to evacuate to, but there's more to do to be fully prepared, especially with fire season already under way. Check out this page on the ASPCA website to see many more suggestions for keeping our pets safe.
