I've been painting animals for many years. Recently, I've discovered that painting for myself or just for money is not enough to keep me going. I look at my three rescued dogs every day, I see how happy they are to finally have a warm home and great food, and plenty of attention. But they also remind me of how there are still so many canine souls to save from the cold shelters and uncertain futures. So my art has taken a turn, in fact, it's gone to the dogs! All the dogs I can help save through raising funds for shelters in need, or encouraging others to visit the local shelter before buying a pet store dog, possibly one that came from a puppy mill.
So, I've starting this blog to share my art and perspective regarding dogs and maybe life in general, with whoever wishes to view it. Perhaps we can't change the entire world, but we can change one dog's world, and thus our own in the process.
